Adsense as a revenue model for hobby blogs

I was checking on my AdSense stats the other night. I started this AdSense account in January of this year and so far I have earned a grand total of $11.51. At this rate it will take me another 7 years before Google will pay out at $100.

Adsense as a revenue model for this hobby blog doesn’t make any sense. Or for any type of blog I would imagine. Is anyone making any sort of revenue from AdSense beside Google?

By the way, this is post #60 of newmediaMike 3.0 and I haven’t missed a day of my 30 day blogging challenge either, this is day 7, the end of my first week.

I’m enjoying being back blogging. My topics will be all over the place, but as my catch line says – sometimes it takes more than 140 characters to get my point across. Oddly enough though most of my traffic comes from search engines, followed by Facebook.

I AM READY TO EMPTY MY KKINDLE OF GAMES AS I am fed up with said games being interrupted by offers of more games. If I want another game I go to amazon and buy it. How can I elimiñate these ads?
