Best Twitter Client for Blackberry
I’ve been on the hunt for the best Twitter Client for Blackberry. I’ve tried Uber Twitter, TwitterBerry, TinyTwitter, BlackBird, Seesmic and then today I downloaded the “Official Twitter for Blackberry App”. I played with it a bit but I don’t keep my Twitter running all day I like to be able to turn it off completely.
I liked the “Official Twitter for Blackberry App”. But it was annoying how it was constantly updating and sending me messages. I like looking at my BB screen and seeing no new messages. Every time I looked at my Blackberry it said I had 1 new Tweet, but I couldn’t find the Tweet. It was frustrating.
So tonight I deleted it and have switched back to Seesmic. Which in my humble opinion, is the best Twitter Client for Blackberry.

Hi Mike,
I deleted RIM’s Twitter app less than 8 hours after installing it. Not being able to turn it off (or at least pause it) was one reason (though it occurred to me later that I could log out instead). The major reasons were a) it only allowed the evil “new” retweet method and b) the five minute update cycle is too slow (I’m impatient enough with UberTwitter’s 2-minute updates).
I don’t remember now why I chose Uber over Seesmic… I did give them both a good try shortly after Seesmic launched.

Yah it was a pain. I do love Seesmic though.
