If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

Are you using link text that contains your keyword phrase on each Web page? In other words, if your Web page is optimized for “Pink Desk Chairs,” are you using Pink Desk Chairs as link text somewhere on the page? Or are you using “learn more” or the dreaded “Click here”?

Use the keyword phrase you want to drive traffic to the page with, it is much more effective and obviously Best Practice.

What could you be linking to?

-An additional page on your Web site with more information about Pink Desk Chairs;
-A product page where you’re selling Pink Desk Chairs accessories;
-A page containing pictures of Pink Desk Chairs;

Just remember to use anchor text to drive traffic internally.
